Our Baltics

International environment in EU & the Baltics

The Baltic countries - Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania - are not only close to the EU, they are de facto also EU members, and often act more as a member of the European Union than we in Sweden. Baltic countries have become hot, particularly with regards to design, culture, music, finance, technology - and IT of course.

More and more Swedish companies - particularly banks - have seen this and now establish themselves in the Baltic countries, reflecting national importance, especially for us in Sweden and other nearby countries.

The Baltic countries are also relatively small, which creates a strong incentive to exist and operate in other countries around the world, mainly in Europe but also in Canada and Australia. The Baltic people have quickly become accustomed to adapting to conditions in different countries and has thus gained valuable International experiences.
